Cool but over price. This is the traditional way of selling goods in Bangkok. Taken from one of the city side canals. The largest one is Damnoen Saduak Floating Market which is 100km outside the city.

The Golden City
Appreciating the city's historical landmarks are the highlights of our visit in Bangkok. In here we visited the Wat Phra Kaeo & Grand Palace which was built in 1782 & 1784, where Rama I (r.1782-1809) house the country's most precious Buddha image at Wat Phra Kaeo & the Grand Palace became the home of the Royal Family. But no king has resided here since the early 20th century.
When we were there, I thought it was a bit too much. The ray of the sun makes the temple even more brighter, more intensely to the eyes. But I guess that was the main purpose of Rama I to make it really stand out to the crowd, to be admired. And yes, after looking all the photos, I simply grasp the quality of workmanship of his team to make this buildings truly worth admiring.

Colorful Taxis of Bangkok
The beginning
Let me re-start this blog again to make it more personal and certainly suits the idea of writing about everything that is interesting about the place I live in, I visited & the places I intend or wish to visit.
